Antique Victorian Button Back Armchair

A quality Victorian button-back armchair with mahogany frame c1850.

Fine quality scroll and foliate carving to front legs, arm supports and front serpentine rail. Carved cabriole front legs terminating in ball and volute feet, and with rear out-swept legs; all raised on ceramic castors.

All show-wood has a lovely aged patina and retains the original finish.

This beautifully shaped, stylish antique button back chair would be perfect in the bedroom, sitting room or study. Upholstered in a quality coral coloured velour fabric which is in an excellent, clean condition - it looks as though it has hardly been used.

Traditionally reupholstered with original sprung seat. This chair is fully functional as well as being highly decorative.  A very comfortable and hugely appealing antique armchair. 

All joints are sound. Minor historic marks and wear as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture.
