Late Victorian / Edwardian Arts and Crafts Decorative Fire Screen
Beautifully decorative Arts and Crafts firescreen featuring a stunning hand stitched tapestry in the style of William Morris. The long stitch work is a really pretty floral composition with fabulous Arts and Crafts colours. Dated c. 1900-1910.
Very good antique condition - a few scuffs to the frame; but nothing which compromises the overall beauty and craftsmanship of this piece. Wear is commensurate with the age of this piece. Please see photos for details.
A really super Arts and Crafts piece that would serve just as well as a decorative item as an alternative to its intended purpose as a fire screen.
Delivered cleaned and ready to place in the home.
